American Singles Nationwide Agree - Compatibility
is Key to Finding a Long-lasting Relationship.
national Survey Reveals Reasons Behind Rise of 'Singlehood'
in America -
While many American singles believe that they are the only ones not
in a relationship or that there simply aren't any available partners
out there, a recent TrueBeginnings national survey(1) proves otherwise.
Based on research recently conducted on the company's behalf, the TrueBeginnings
survey reveals that among Americans 18 years of age and older, nearly
half are single.
With divorce rates soaring past 50 percent, and existing methods of
meeting people unfulfilling by most standards, it's easy to understand
why millions of people find themselves frustrated and alone after looking
everywhere for that special someone.
Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places
According to the study, while six in 10 single Americans
believe having a committed relationship is important, one-third are
still finding it difficult to meet people they'd like to have one with.
These singles are looking for and hoping that a solution will soon be
available to help alleviate their "single living" pressures,
and end this "relationship-shortage" in America.
Further, the TrueBeginnings survey shows that 61 percent
are not satisfied with the current methods available for meeting someone.
In fact, according to recent Yankelovich Monitor studies, it is due
to this dissatisfaction, combined with the lack of time singles have
available to proactively meet people after long work-weeks and hectic
schedules, that many have turned to the Internet to find relationships
- and even that has proven unsuccessful ... until now.
Compatibility is Key
TrueBeginnings, a new relationship building online
service, was developed specifically to address this "singleton"
epidemic in America. Featuring a proven compatibility formula designed
to help people identify and build healthy, successful and lasting relationships,
the service offers the unique True Compatibility Test, security program
and ongoing relationship resources to provide people with the necessary
tools to meet the right person without having to sift through thousands
of "would-be-matches" they have nothing in common with. In
fact, four out of 10 online daters say current sites don't focus on
people with similar interests, which is an important factor to the 89
percent who see compatibility as key to finding a relationship.
"Based on our studies, there is truly an epidemic
today -- 'singlehood' is definitely on the rise, for a variety of reasons,"
said Martin Hanan, President, TrueBeginnings. "TrueBeginnings wanted
to get to the heart of what is causing the significant lack of relationships
in this country and, based on our findings, we have managed to create
a service that helps to address the fears and concerns of singles everywhere."
Delivering the Cure - How it Works
The success of a relationship hinges on fundamental
personality measures, behavioral traits, shared beliefs and values,
not just similar interests. TrueBeginnings evaluates members on a comprehensive
range of psychological attributes including self-confidence, attachment,
and need for control. Other lifestyle psychometrics covering personal
preferences, religion, values, family, beliefs, attitude and special
interests, are also compiled into a personality profile for each individual.
When combined and analyzed, these attributes cover 99 compatibility
factors and lifestyle preferences -- more than any other relationship
service -- to determine long-term compatibility. Patent pending matching
algorithms are paired with next-generation search technology that analyze
these compatibility factors and provide a ranked set of partners that
are most compatible for the individual. Developed to provide members
with a 'helping hand' to assist in identifying potential, compatible,
long-term partners, as well as discover something about themselves along
the way. The TrueBeginnings matching algorithms easily sort through
the database of profiles to quickly and efficiently identify and match
individuals who are most compatible.
Safe and Secure
Almost six in 10 (59 percent) of American singles revealed
they would never try an online dating service because they fear a lack
of safety and security with meeting people online. However, those people
admit they are more likely to sign up for an online dating service if
it provides criminal background checks. In a step to overcome this stigma
attached to online dating, TrueBeginnings has partnered exclusively
with Rapsheets Criminal Records to create a safe and secure environment
for its members. Before a new member is allowed to communicate with
another member, TrueBeginnings instantaneously screens them against
the nation's largest criminal record database, which contains more than
150 million unique criminal records obtained from more than 110 state
and county government agencies, and sex offender registries.
Keeping it Real
In addition, there are many singles that still won't
try a traditional online dating service for fear that the potentials
'matches' will be completely mismatched - including their marital status.
In fact, more than 74 percent of single Americans indicated that "misrepresentation
of suitors" was the number one reason for the "poor"
performance and experience they endeared from the traditional online
dating scene. To address this concern, TrueBeginnings requires that
each potential member certify they are single and not married. Additionally,
TrueBeginnings will employ and promote a myriad of technology features,
including audio and video chat, which will allow would-be partners to
really get to know each other before meeting face-to-face as well as
advanced blocking features allowing customers the ability to hide their
profile from certain groups or individuals.
